How can I transfer balance from one benefit to another?
The balance transfer is possible with the MyChoice feature in the Edenred app.
This is how you transfer the balance between your benefits:
The instructions are for the new Edenred app, so please download the new app first if you haven't done so already.
1. Login to your Edenred app account.
2. At the top of the homepage, you can find all your benefits.
3. Choose any benefit (excluding Lounari).
4. About halfway down the screen on the right side choose 'Transfer balances'. If your app is in Finnish the button is 'MyChoice'.
5. Select from the dropdown menus which benefit you want to transfer the balance from and to which benefit.
6. Enter the amount and finally press the 'Transfer balance' button.
Important Notes:
- The MyChoice button is only available if your company has enabled this feature. Please contact your employer if you would like it available for employees.
- If MyChoice is available to you but the button cannot be found, please contact our customer service so that we can investigate your case further.
- You can transfer your balance between the following Edenred benefits:
- Massage benefit
- Transport benefit
- Wellbeing benefit
- Virike (sports & culture) benefit
For tax purposes, the lunch benefit balance cannot be transferred.
- To transfer a balance, you must have at least two of the mentioned benefits (the lunch benefit is not included). Also, ensure that each benefit is activated.
- You can make a maximum of 5 transfers within a 30-day period. The app ensures that the transfers remain within the tax-free limits set by the Finnish Tax Administration. A transfer "unlocks" once 30 days have passed since the first transfer. You can track your MyChoice transfers from the payment transactions of your benefits.
- Please note that the amount is transferred in the background system immediately, but there may be a delay in the app's display. However, the amount is available, and you can refresh the view if you wish.
