Yes, setting a usage limit is mandatory. This regulation applies to all clients who provide lunch benefits to their employees.
When the loading amount is set to the recommended maximum value of the lunch benefit 14,00 € (2026), the change will not affect the use of the benefit. If the amount is set below 14,00 €, the lunch benefit can be used for a maximum of that amount per payment transaction.
