Why can't I transfer balance with MyChoice?
Check these steps if you are unable to transfer balance between your benefits:
- Has your employer activated the MyChoice feature?* If it is available at your company, you can find it by selecting your desired benefit at the top of the app (excluding Lounari) and looking for the 'Transfer balances' button in the middle right section of the screen. If your app is in Finnish the button is 'MyChoice'.
- Do you have at least two of the following benefits: Massage, Virike (sports and culture), Transport and Wellbeing benefit? Please note that you can't transfer balance from/to the lunch benefit due to taxation reasons.
- Have you activated your benefits on the Edenred app? You can see the inactive benefits on the homepage of your Edenred app user account.
- Have you already exceeded the maximum tax-free limits set by the Finnish Tax Administration? The app will notify if this happens.
- Does the benefit you are transferring from have enough balance?
- Have you already done five MyChoice transfers in 30 days? A transfer "is released" 30 days after the first transfer. You can follow your transfers from your Edenred app user account's transactions.
- Please note that the amount is transferred in the background system immediately, but there may be a delay in the app's display. However, the amount is available, and you can refresh the view if you wish.
*The MyChoice button is only available if your company has enabled the MyChoice feature. Please contact your employer if you would like it available for employees.
If MyChoice is available to you, but the button cannot be found, please contact our customer service so that we can investigate your case further.
