Where can I see when cards expire in the Employer portal?

The card expiry date is not shown in the Employer portal, and the employer does not need to manage card renewals.

Cards are valid for two years at a time and are renewed automatically as virtual cards. For this reason, the card expiry date is not essential information from the employer’s perspective.

Employees can check the validity period of their own card in the Edenred app. The activation serial number for a new virtual card is sent automatically to the employee by email before the card expires.

Physical cards cannot be ordered through the Employer portal. If your company has the lunch or Virike (sports & culture) benefit in use, employees can order a physical Lounari/Virike card for themselves in the Edenred app. Ordering a physical card is free of charge.

To order a physical card in the app: select Lounari or Virike on the home screen, open Settings, and choose Order physical card.

Please note: ordering a physical card blocks the current card and causes a temporary interruption in benefit use. While waiting for the new card to arrive, the employee can call our customer service on the next business day after placing the order and request the new card’s activation serial number. For security reasons, we cannot send this information by email.

Once the activation serial number has been received, the employee can use their benefits for Edenred Pay mobile payments as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay payments. This also enables online orders with Wolt and Kotipizza.
